SPACE lab was establish in 2003 at National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan by Prof. Miau from Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Prof. Juang from Department of Electrical Engineering. Since then, SPACE lab has been involved in several microsatellite and nanosatellites projects in collaboration with both national and international organizations including Taiwan NSPO, VKI, and Russia. Our Taiwan's first nanosatellite, PACE, was successfully launched in June 2014 and now we are working on another nanosatellite project, PHOENIX which is selected as one of the Cubesat for QB50 project.
Our lab has attracted a lot of students from all over the world because of our advanced researches and state-of-the-art projects. Since SPACE lab has been founded, there are more than 60 students participate in our satellite projects. They are from diverse nationalities, including Taiwan, Germany, France, Peru, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Guatemala and Italy.
